上周六下午，一名19岁的少女在铁轨上自拍时被火车撞倒身亡。
A 19-year-old woman posing for a photo on the railroad tracks was hit and killed by a train on last Saturday afternoon.
这名女子的姓名尚未公布，报道指出她是在广东省佛山市山莲塘村的三茂铁路上自拍的。这一段铁路因其紧挨着美丽的玫瑰花田而十分有名。
The woman, whose name has yet to be released, was reportedly posing for a selfie on Sanmao track in Shanliantang Village, Foshan, southeast China's Guangdong province. The section of the railway is famous for its beautiful rose blossoms.
据目击者称，这名女子当时没注意到身后有火车驶来。在铁路两边还有许多游客在拍照，有一些人大声警告了她，但是到最后还是没人能引起她的注意。
Witnesses said that the woman did not realize a train was approaching. There were many visitors taking photos alongside the tracks, and some people shouted warnings, but no one succeeded in getting the woman's attention.
在事故发生后，列车上的一名工作人员下车前来检查女子的情况并立刻报了警。之后，她被救护车送到附近的当地医院进行救治。根据当天值班护士长表示，受伤女子到达医院的时候就已经没有生命体征了。
An employee got off the train to examine the woman and call the police immediately after the accident occurred. Later, she was sent to a nearby hospital by ambulance. According to the chief nurse on duty that day, the victim showed no sign of life upon her arrival at the hospital.
一名村里的村民表示，这已经不是这段铁路上第一次发生路人被火车撞死的事故了。越来越多的游客，尤其是年轻人，会想尽办法走上铁路线，特别是那些靠近花田和花海的路段。他们就喜欢在这些有美景的地方拍照留念。
This is not the first time a pedestrian has been killed by a train on that section of the tracks, said a resident of the village. More and more visitors, especially young people, are finding their way onto intercity train lines, especially those near flowerbeds and spring blossoms. They like to photograph themselves in the scenic spots.
